The verdict

The highlights of the Technics EAH-AZ40 include the secure fit, functional controls, good mic system, and reasonably pleasant frequency response. It's sweatproof and with surprisingly low latency (for its AAC/SBC codecs). The app could be better and the case sturdier, but it's highly portable and the buds look nice.

What we like
Lightweight
Decent sound
Good microphone
Touch controls work well
IPX4 rating (earbuds, not case)
What could be better
Secure, but invasive fit
EQ only okay
Multipoint is fussy
Unrefined app
