Turtle Beach Recon 200 Gen 2

The Turtle Beach Recon Gen 2 is just as odd as last time. It delivers plenty of bass, but it's still a wired headset that you have to recharge.

The verdict

If you really like the idea of adding a ton of extra bass to your gaming headset, the Turtle Beach Recon 200 Gen 2 is an affordable way to do it. It's still pretty odd to have a wired gaming headset that needs a battery to use it's main feature, but at least you can keep using the headset after running out of juice.
