1 / 10The Sony INZONE H9 checks pretty much all the boxes you'd expect, but maybe not as well as you'd like, given the price.
At 6.3, its noise cancelling beats 0% of gaming headsets we've measured.
Measured on 12 of the 149 we've cataloged.
above average for gaming headsets — based on 83 of 149 we've cataloged.
Aac is the most common — on 28% of the 72 gaming headsets we've cataloged (of 149).
5.3 is the most common — on 42% of the 60 gaming headsets we've cataloged (of 149).
2.4GHZ appears on 25% of the 182 gaming headsets we've cataloged (of 149).
The Sony INZONE H9 is the company's highest-tier gaming headset, and it's a huge step up from the previous Pulse headset. This time around you get active noise canceling (ANC) and Bluetooth connectivity, two rare features for this breed. However, the H9 is very expensive, and it doesn't exactly stick the landing on every front.

Measured frequency response (dB) against the SoundGuys house target — the dashed curve. The closer the measured line tracks the target, the more neutral the tuning; peaks ride above the target, dips fall below it.
