The verdict

If you're willing to pay the price and don't mind the lack of wireless connectivity or noise cancellation, the SoundTrue II's offer excellent comfort and solid sound quality for casual listening. However, the high price tag for a wired-only headphone makes it difficult to recommend as a best-value option.

What we like
Very comfortable with lightweight design suitable for extended wear
Good sound quality across genres with clean bass and clear highs
Flexible and durable build despite plastic construction
Includes hardshell carrying case for protection and portability
Detachable cable allows for easy replacement if damaged
What could be better
Premium price point of $180 without Bluetooth or active noise cancelling
Cable compatibility dependent on device type (iOS vs Android)
Sound quality similar to previous model with no audio improvements
