The verdict

The ATH-M50x is a reliable, durable set of wired headphones that performs well for casual listening and mixing applications. While it doesn't offer the most neutral or bass-heavy sound, it translates audio quite reliably and feels alright overall. The no-nonsense performance and build quality make it worth picking up at the right price.
