The verdict
If you're looking to just listen to music or a few podcasts, the AirPods (2nd generation) is a decent choice for iPhone owners, since the connection never drops and total battery life is pretty good. You won't get great sound out of these earphones, but that's not the point. If you're willing to sacrifice comfort for convenience, then the second-generation AirPods makes sense. Otherwise, we implore you to look at other options.
✓Liked: Great connection, Really portable, Better battery than previous model thanks to H1 chip, Great charging case
✕Could be better: Not the best fit, Sound isn't great, Terrible/no isolation, No volume controls
Owners
How we verify ownersNobody who owns the Apple AirPods 1 has written in yet.
Owner reviews are not paid for, not solicited from specific owners, and not rewritten by us: at most we proofread typos, which is shown on the review’s own page and which the author can undo. The commission SoundGuys may earn on this page comes from retail links, never from owner reviews.
