The verdict

The Poly Voyager Free 60+ UC is not recommended for purchase. While it offers unique features like the touchscreen case and multipoint connectivity, significant comfort issues make it unsuitable for office workers requiring extended wear. The touchscreen is gimmicky and clunky, the sound quality is mediocre, and the ANC does not justify the steep $330 price tag. Better alternatives exist for the same investment.

What we like
Bluetooth multipoint connectivity allows seamless switching between up to two devices simultaneously
Three-microphone array provides decent call quality with WindSmart noise reduction
Multiple connectivity options including direct Bluetooth, USB adapter, and wired 3.5mm connection
Helpful Poly Lens app with customization for voice alerts, sidetone settings, and swipe sensor functions
Decent active noise cancellation for office environments using Standard and Adaptive modes
IP54 rating provides resistance to sweat for exercise use
What could be better
Earbuds are uncomfortable to wear, causing soreness after less than an hour of use due to bulbous shape
Charging case touchscreen operates poorly with jumpy animations and unintuitive menu navigation
Sound quality is mediocre with overemphasized bass and subdued mids and vocals
Swipe sensor controls are unreliably responsive and sometimes require excessive force that dislodges earbuds
In-ear auto-detection sensors do not work reliably, with inconsistent automatic pause and resume
Multipoint Bluetooth switching confuses the technology and causes unexpected music pausing
