The verdict

The JBL Tune 125TWS offers decent sound quality, good isolation, and comfortable fit for a budget-friendly price, but the lack of waterproofing, unreliable charging, and awkward stiff buttons are significant drawbacks. If you primarily control the earbuds through your device and can avoid water exposure, they offer reasonable value for the cost, but for improved reliability and features, alternatives like the Skullcandy Mod XT or TOZO NC2 may be better choices.

✓Good sound quality with balanced frequency response across frequencies
✓Fairly isolating, blocking about 10dB of bass and sub bass sounds effectively
✓Fit and finish is good with no rough edges and quality plastic construction
✓Comfortable for long stretches despite large earbud size
✓Battery lasts 9 hours and 11 minutes on a single charge, which is above average for non-noise canceling earbuds
✓Case provides roughly an extra 24 hours of power
✕What could be better
✕No IP rating demonstrating waterproofing or dustproofing, making them unsuitable for humid days or light rainfall
