OneOdio manufactures some of the best budget headphones on the market. Following the formidable Focus A6, the company has unveiled the OneOdio Focus A1 Pro, its most affordable on-ear headphones yet. These are available now in Midnight Black and Black-Red for $34.99 from OneOdio and Amazon.
The OneOdio Focus A1 Pro feature 40mm dynamic drivers, foldable ear cups, and a 200g, protein leather design. They also reportedly feature hybrid active noise canceling that attenuates environmental noise by up to 38dB. Their battery life lasts 70 hours per charge without ANC, and 40 hours with noise cancellation enabled. You can also fast charge the cans over USB-C, with a 10-minute boost yielding five hours of listening time.

Like the Focus A6, OneOdio’s newest headphones feature Bluetooth 6.0. This brings low-latency and more stable wireless connections of up to 15 meters. Unfortunately, there are no Hi-Res Bluetooth codecs, such as LDAC. However, the Focus A1 supports SBC, AAC, and Bluetooth Multipoint, which is ideal for those streaming audio simultaneously from two separate devices. Double-tapping the ANC button triggers the headphones’ Gaming Mode, providing ultra-low 89ms latency streaming.
The Focus A1’s Transparency Mode feature allows you to hear your surroundings, and the cans sport a single-mic ANC algorithm for in-call noise rejection. Unfortunately, the headphones do not ship with a carry case, and their medium-sized ear cups may represent an uncomfortable middle ground between on-ear and over-ear cans.
