Nothing teases the Nothing Headphone (a) in new X post
Mar 2, 2026 — 10:55 AM ET

- Nothing has teased its new Nothing Headphone (a) on X.
- The post suggests that the company will unveil the cans on March 5, 2026.
- Earlier leaks suggest that the Nothing Headphone (a) will ship in Pink, White, Black, and Yellow for €159 (~$187).
Nothing has confirmed that its highly anticipated Headphone (a) will launch this week. In a post on X, the company published an image of the cans in yellow with the caption “Headphone (a). 5 March, 10:30 GMT.” This follows leaks by Dealab Magazine’s Billbil-kun, suggesting the company is gearing up to release a new pair of affordable cans. These will reportedly serve as a budget alternative to the more premium Nothing Headphone (1).
Billbil-kun’s leak provides a glimpse at the anticipated launch date, colors, and price. For example, it states that the new headset will launch on March 12, 2026. The official announcement and pre-order date will arrive a week earlier on March 5, 2026, aligning with Nothing’s X post.

Most surprising is that Nothing’s latest headset appears to have a retail list price of €159. For context, that’s nearly half of the Headphone (1)’s initial price of €299. The leak also shows that the new cans are expected to cost £149 in the United Kingdom. Unfortunately, it does not reveal a US price. However, looking at their predecessor’s UK and US retail prices of £299 and $299, we could see a similar pound-to-dollar price with this budget pair.
Billbil-kun notes that Nothing’s upcoming cans will ship in Pink, White, Black, and Yellow colorways. That’s already more than the Headphone (1), which only ship in Black and White. Given this and the anticipated price reduction, it’s unlikely that this new headset will be a rebranded version of their costlier sibling. Instead, the Headphone (a) may offer a more affordable, stripped-back feature set. Unfortunately, technical specifications are unknown at the time of writing.
