These new $899 headphones do something Sony, Bose, and Apple still don't

- The headphones promise up to 50 hours of battery life and feature a rare user-replaceable battery.
- Pre-orders are now open at $899, with shipping expected to begin in July.
Noble Audio has announced the FoKus Artemis, a new flagship pair of wireless over-ear headphones that packs three different types of drivers into a single design.
The company says the Artemis combines a dynamic driver, a balanced armature driver, and a planar magnetic driver. While this kind of hybrid setup can be found on some premium earbuds, it’s not very common in wireless over-ear headphones.
According to Noble, each driver has a specific job. The dynamic driver handles bass, the balanced armature focuses on vocals and midrange detail, and the planar driver handles higher-frequency detail and speed. The goal is to deliver a more balanced and detailed sound without relying on a single driver type.

The Artemis also includes Audiodo Personal Sound technology that creates a custom listening profile based on a hearing test performed in the Noble FoKus app. Instead of choosing from standard EQ presets, users can tailor the sound to their own hearing.
Other specs
Beyond audio performance, the headphones check most of the boxes you’d expect from a premium wireless model. They support Bluetooth 5.4, multipoint connectivity, active noise cancelation, transparency mode, USB audio, and wired listening through an included USB-C to 3.5mm adapter.
Battery life is rated at more than 50 hours on a charge, or around 35 hours with ANC enabled. While that sounds pretty standard for premium wireless headphones, the Artemis boasts a removable battery. User-replaceable batteries are still uncommon in wireless headsets, especially at the high end, and could help extend the device’s lifespan.
Elsewhere, the FoKus Artemis weighs under 350g, features replaceable ear cushions, magnetic ear pads, IP52 water resistance, and a six-microphone system for calls and noise cancelation.
Noble Audio is showcasing the headphones at HIGH END Vienna 2026. Pre-orders are available now for $899, while shipping is expected to begin in July.
