Since the audio cues don’t tell you what you’re doing, you’ll need to pay attention to the LED indicators… which aren’t helpful if you’re wearing the headphones.

Here’s how to pair Beats Studio Pro headphones to an iPhone or iPad using iOS one-step pairing:

  1. Put the headphones in pairing mode by pressing the system button for 3 seconds. The indicator light will flash.
  2. Hold the buds close to your iPhone or iPad. A box should pop up on your screen, prompting you to connect to them.
  3. Tap the Connect button to pair the earbuds and phone. If the connect option doesn’t appear on your iPhone, you’ll need to do the process manually.

To manually pair your Beats Studio Pro to an iPhone:

  1. Put the headphones in pairing mode.
  2. Launch the Settings app on your iOS device.
  3. Navigate to and turn on Bluetooth. The toggle will appear green when enabled.
  4. The earbuds will appear in the Other Devices section of your iPhone.
  5. Tap the earbuds to begin pairing.

Note that the flashing indicator light signifies that the headphones are in pairing mode. If the light is on but doesn’t flash, your headphones are paired to another device.

How to connect Beats Studio Pro to a Mac or MacBook

MacOS doesn’t have the same one-step pairing as the iPhone. So you have to do it manually. Follow these steps on how to pair Beats Studio Pro headphones to a MacBook:

  1. Put the headphones in pairing mode by pressing the system button for 3 seconds. The indicator light should flash.
  2. On your Mac, click on the Apple logo in the top left corner of the screen.
  3. Click System Settings on the Mac dock.
  4. Select Bluetooth on the left sidebar and ensure it is turned on. The headphones should appear on your Mac under Nearby Devices.
  5. Click the Connect button next to the headphones to pair them with your Mac.

How to connect Beats Studio Pro to Android

Like the iPhone, the pairing process can be snappy with Google Fast Pair. Here’s how it works:

  1. Turn on both Bluetooth and Location on your Android Phone.
  2. Put your Beats Studio Pro headphones in pairing mode by pressing the system button for about 3 seconds until the indicator flashes.
  3. Place the headphones close to your Android device. A notification will appear on your phone.
  4. Tap Connect. You’ll get a notification when the pairing process is complete.

Note that some Android devices do not support Google Fast Pair. The requirements include Android Location Services, Bluetooth LE, and Android 6.0 and above. You can connect manually if Fast Pair doesn’t work.

You can pair the Beats Studio Pro to your Nintendo Switch out of the box. No need for adapters or dongles. The process is just like pairing AirPods to the Switch.

Beats Studio Pro headphones are not compatible with the Xbox because the console doesn’t natively support Bluetooth audio devices.
