Jul 20, 2026 — 11:30 AM ET

- A green color option for the Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones has been prematurely listed by South American retailer Falabella.
- The new shade appears to be a pastel-like olive green, coming with a color-matched case and a matching green background in the Sound Connect app.
- This unannounced color will join the existing Black, Platinum Silver, Midnight Blue, Sand Pink, and Sandstone color options for this headphone.
Sony launched its sub-flagship WH-1000XM6 headphones in the US in May 2025 in three colors: Black, Platinum Silver, and Midnight Blue. The company followed it up with a new Sand Pink color in February 2026 and a Sandstone color in May 2026. If you were itching for even more color choices, it seems Sony has another color in the pipeline: a shade of green.
We’ve heard about Sony working on a green color for the WH-1000XM6, but we haven’t had a peek at it yet. Now, it seems South American retailer Falabella is already selling a Green color of Sony’s XM6 headphones, as spotted by The Walkman Blog. Sony hasn’t announced this color yet, indicating the retail listing is premature. Here are the photos that are part of this product listing:

Users who buy the green color will receive a color-matched headphone case. Even the Sound Connect app will display a green background to match the color, adding a touch of attention to detail.

It’s not clear when Sony will officially announce the green color, but it’s pretty clear that whenever it does, users will have plenty of color options to choose from if they decide to buy the WH-1000XM6.
