The Sennheiser HD 620S is getting a Mercedes-AMG special edition, because why not

Sennheiser has regularly produced some of the best over-ear headphones, and while the company’s HD 620S weren’t its best mid-range headphones, it’s still coming out with a special edition.

At Gamescom 2026, Sennheiser has announced a multi-year collaboration with German carmaker Mercedes-Benz, and the first product from this partnership is the Mercedes-AMG edition of the HD 620S headphones.

The new special-edition headphones will feature the same overall design as the regular HD 620S headphones. However, they’ll have red accents around the earcups and inside the extendable headband, along with red design elements on the earcups themselves.

The headphones will also include a detachable HD 500 BAM (boom arm mic) for in-game communication. Users will be able to remove the mic when they don’t need it and plug it in for games that require team comms.

Sennheiser hasn’t mentioned any hardware details, but it’s highly likely the headphones will retain the same hardware as the regular HD 620S, which we found to be quite comfortable in our review, despite a slightly weird default sound.

The Sennheiser HD 620S Mercedes-AMG edition headphones are being showcased at Gamescom 2026. They are priced at $449.95 and will start shipping in November 2026. Sennheiser and Mercedes-Benz have stated that this special edition of the HD 620S is the first product in their multi-year collaboration, so we could see more headphones and earbuds in the near future.
