Sony Xperia 1 V Attenuation (measured on a B&K 5128)

Solid lines: passive isolation (dB) with ANC off — how much ambient noise the fit blocks on its own. Dashed lines: total attenuation (dB) with ANC on — passive isolation plus active noise cancelling. Higher on the chart means more attenuation.

SoundGuys review
The verdict
Look, just because the Skullcandy Crusher ANC 2 looks like it's for grown ups doesn't mean it still doesn't have a bonkers amount of bass. You can EQ it of course, but it's hard to tame. Otherwise, it's comfortable, if a tad hefty, and the Skullcandy IQ app has a nice interface. Its noise canceling is not the best out there, but it works.
✓Liked: Bluetooth multipoint, Comfortable, Good app, Dedicated buttons and extensive control remapping
✕Could be better: Too much bass for most people, A little heavy, ANC is only okay, Crusher mode, EQ, and sound personalization make getting a good sound overly complicated
