With careful use, the AONIC 215 Gen 2 is a good pair of earbuds with exceptional sound quality. However, the delicate wiring vulnerability due to case design and the large, poorly designed case are significant drawbacks. Best for sound quality enthusiasts who can be extremely careful with handling.

✓Excellent passive isolation that blocks over 45dB of noise in the 3-10kHz range with proper fit

✕What could be better
✕Delicate wiring on the Bluetooth module is prone to damage from repeated case insertion
✕Charging case is large and doesn't fit in most pockets
✕Case design is poor with difficult earphone placement and vulnerability to long-term durability issues
✕Battery life falls short of official specifications (5 hours 9 minutes tested vs 8 hours claimed)
✕Volume controls cannot be reassigned if you want to use only one earbud at a time
