The verdict

If you can get past the sheer heft and loose grip of the M1070C, it'll reward you with its excellent sounding frequency response. Keep in mind that while the cable it ships with is good quality, and the velour and lambskin pads feel decent, the metal frame isn't as strong as it ought to be.
