KEF promises 'a new definition of luxury' with cryptic speaker teaser

- KEF is teasing the launch of a new speaker.
- The speaker is designed by Ross Lovegrove and takes visual inspiration from the Muon, Muo, and Mu.
- The speaker will make its debut on July 30.
KEF, the UK-based loudspeaker and audio product manufacturer, has a new mysterious speaker in the works. And it won’t be long before you’ll be able to see what the company is hiding under its sleeve.
In a teaser on social media, KEF revealed it will be launching a new speaker. The post includes a clip showing a part of the silhouette, as well as the brand’s iconic Uni-Q driver. Not much else is shown in the social post.
Over on KEF’s blog, the company says the speaker will provide a “new definition of luxury.” It also said that Ross Lovegrove was in charge of the design, and it will be visually inspired by the Muon, Muo, and Mu. For those unfamiliar with these products, the Muon is KEF’s flagship speakers, the Muo is a Bluetooth speaker, and the Mu are earbuds/headphones. All of these products feature a noticeably curvy aesthetic.
Will this “new definition of luxury” be reflected in the price? We’ll have to wait to find out. As mentioned earlier, you won’t have to wait long for the reveal. KEF says that its new speaker will make its debut on July 30, 2026.
