JBL unveils new open-ear and performance headphone lineups at CES 2026
At CES 2026, JBL announced a major expansion of its headphone portfolio, launching three distinct product families that reflect the brand’s push into open-ear audio and fitness-focused design. The new Endurance, Sense, and Soundgear CLIPS lines offer a wide range of choices for active users, commuters, combining JBL’s signature sound with modern design and situational awareness.

The JBL Endurance series now includes five models, headlined by the Endurance Zone, the brand’s first open-ear sport headphone. Designed for tough training environments, it features JBL OpenSound technology, IP68 durability, and secure liquid silicone ear hooks. It’s joined by the Endurance Peak 4, which introduces Adaptive Noise Cancelling and Smart Ambient tech to the series, and the Endurance Pace, a neckband-style open-ear option with a lightweight design and powerful bass. For fans of wired reliability, Endurance Run 3 offers both USB-C and 3.5mm versions with JBL Pure Bass Sound and TwistLock™ fit. All models are available starting January 2026, and priced as follows:
-
Endurance Zone – $179.95
-
Endurance Peak 4 – $129.95
-
Endurance Pace – $89.95
-
Endurance Run 3 (USB-C) – $34.95
-
Endurance Run 3 (3.5mm) – $24.95
Building on its open-ear push, JBL also introduced the Sense Pro and Sense Lite, two comfort-first headphones built around JBL OpenSound air-conduction audio. Both sit outside the ear canal, prioritizing environmental awareness over passive isolation.
The Sense Pro is the more premium option, adding Hi-Res Audio Wireless, Spatial Sound, Adaptive Bass Boost, and a four-mic array with JBL Voice Pickup Sensor technology for clearer calls in noisy environments. The lighter Sense Lite focuses on simplicity and comfort, pairing a soft silicone design with beamforming mics, Adaptive Bass Boost, and up to 32 hours of battery life. Pricing is as follows:
-
Sense Pro – $199.95
-
Sense Lite – $149.95

Rounding out the lineup is JBL’s most style-driven release yet, the Soundgear CLIPS. These clip-on earphones lean into fashion as much as function, pairing open-ear air-conduction audio with translucent finishes and metallic accents. JBL says the SonicArc design helps add bass while limiting sound leakage, and features like four beamforming mics, Adaptive Bass Boost, and up to 32 hours of battery life make them practical for everyday use. The Soundgear CLIPS launch in March 2026 for $149.95.
From rugged workouts to urban commutes, JBL’s CES 2026 lineup showcases a strong commitment to versatile, open-ear audio that doesn’t compromise on clarity, comfort, or connection.
