Creative Technology has launched the Creative XF1 globally, a compact 2.0 desktop speaker system designed for high-fidelity desktop audio. The XF1 lands directly in the increasingly crowded desktop monitor space, offering an appealing alternative to options like the Edifier MR4 and the PreSonus Eris 3.5 BT Gen 2, as well as the Edifier MR4.5, for users seeking a feature-rich, small-footprint setup.

According to Creative, the XF1 features a bi-amplified active design delivering up to 72W RMS total power output (26W x2 for the woofers and 10W x2 for the tweeters). The system incorporates 3-inch woofers alongside 0.74-inch silk-dome tweeters, boasting dual Hi-Res Audio certification spanning a 55Hz to 40kHz frequency range.

On the connectivity side, it includes USB-C digital audio (up to 24-bit/96kHz), a 3.5mm AUX line-in, Bluetooth 6.0 with LDAC codec support, and a dedicated subwoofer output port with automatic mode switching for easy 2.1 expansion.

The package also includes detachable cork speaker stands designed to tilt the drivers 15° toward ear level for a proper listening experience.

DSP customization is handled via the new Creative Nexus app. The companion software offers a 10-band parametric equalizer alongside more than 120 genre- and game-specific presets, allowing users to fine-tune frequency response curves for gaming, media consumption, or analytical music listening.
