Viaim RecDot
Earbuds that also record audio • AI is powerful, yet optional
MSRP: $199.99
The World's First AI Note-Taking Earbuds
The Viaim RecDot are multi-function, AI-powered, note taking earbuds. Record conversations and meetings, then optionally send them for AI processing to get insightful notes, actionable summaries and more. They're also capable earbuds for listening to tunes on the go.

If your workday is a string of meetings squeezed between flights, drives, and coffee shops, viaim makes earbuds built for exactly that. The RecDot and OpenNote are earbuds built for AI note-taking, allowing you to record calls, meetings, and in-person conversations all with a single tap. The Viaim app turns all your recordings into transcripts, summaries, and to-do lists to reference later. Voice memos are stored right on the earbuds themselves, so you can capture ideas on the go without fumbling for your phone.

The RecDot uses a sealed in-ear design with active noise cancellation, while the OpenNote’s open-ear fit keeps you aware of your surroundings, which is handy if you’re recording a thought mid-commute. Both work hands-free, wherever your meetings happen.

Best Prime Day Audio Deals

Sony WH-1000XM5 — $198 (50% off)

SoundGuys Editor's Choice
Sony WH-1000XM5
ANC performance • Outstanding microphone • Useful app features
MSRP: $399.00
The king of the ANC pack extends its reign
Positives
  • ANC performance
  • Outstanding microphone
  • App features, including custom EQ
  • Bluetooth 5.2 with SBC, AAC, LDAC, and wired connectivity options
  • Bluetooth multipoint
  • Find My Device enabled
Cons
  • Price
  • No IP rating

The Sony WH-1000XM5 has been the headphone to beat for office workers and frequent flyers since it launched, and at $198 it’s matching its lowest price ever. It excels in travel or at the office, in particular. You’re getting some of the best active noise cancellation on the market, paired with an outstanding microphone that makes it just as good for calls as it is for blocking out a flight cabin. Battery life is excellent too — Sony rates these for 30 hours, but our own testing came in even higher, at nearly 32 hours with ANC turned on. Throw in solid app features like a custom EQ, Bluetooth multipoint, and Find My Device support, and it’s easy to see why this remains a go-to recommendation even with the newer WH-1000XM6 on shelves.

Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless — $179.95 (40% off)

SoundGuys Editor's Choice
Sennheiser MOMENTUM 4 Wireless
App for EQ changes • Simple, elegant design • USB-C charging
MSRP: $350.00
High-end ANC over-ear headphones focus on style and comfort
If you need total immersion in your music, you need some ANC over-ears. The Sennheiser Momentum 4 focus on style and comfort while delivering the core features high-end shoppers need with their headphones.
Positives
  • Excellent battery life
  • Excellent sound quality
  • Connectivity options
  • Price
Cons
  • Middling ANC
  • Mic noise rejection

The Momentum 4 Wireless is Sennheiser’s pitch to anyone who wants flagship-level sound without the Bose or Sony price tag, and at $179.95 it’s a steep discount off its $299.99 list. Battery life is the real headline here — it lasted over 56 hours with ANC on in our testing, which beats every major competitor in the category, some by a wide margin. Sound quality holds up just as well, with a tuning that’s easy to live with right out of the box and doesn’t need much EQ tinkering. You also get a lot of flexibility on the connectivity side, with support for SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, and aptX Adaptive, plus both USB-C and 3.5mm wired listening. ANC isn’t quite at the same level as the top-tier competition, but at this price, that’s an easy tradeoff.

Soundcore Liberty 4 NC — $59.99 (40% off)

SG recommended
Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 NC
Price ANC • Battery life • LDAC, AAC, SBC codecs
MSRP: $99.99
These are definitely a contender for some of the best affordable noise canceling earbuds based on performance and value. With an IPX4 rating, long battery life, and good ANC, these are worth a go. You might not want to go for a run with them, but otherwise they're decent.
Positives
  • Price
  • ANC
  • Battery life
  • LDAC, AAC, SBC codecs
  • IPX4
  • Fast pair
  • Wireless charging
Cons
  • Chunky case
  • Many EQ presets are too bassy

If you want ANC earbuds without spending flagship money, the Liberty 4 NC at $59.99 is the deal of the week. They punch well above their weight — nearly 10 hours of battery with ANC on, plus around 50 hours from the case, wireless charging, and one of the highest sound quality scores we’ve recorded for earbuds at any price. ANC is genuinely good and comes with more granular controls than most competitors twice the price, including adaptive mode and wind reduction. Throw in LDAC support, Bluetooth multipoint, and a comprehensive app, and there’s very little left to ask for at this price.

Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones — $269 (40% off)

SoundGuys Editor's Choice
Bose QuietComfort Ultra
Great battery life • Advanced audio experience
MSRP: $429.00
Quality and comfort noise canceling headphones
Going ultra with their ANC headphone experience, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra noise cancelling headphones offer up to 24 hours of battery life, a comfortable fit, Spatial Audio support, and powerful ANC.
Positives
  • Great ANC
  • Good passthrough mode
  • Snapdragon Sound
  • aptX Lossless
Cons
  • Price
  • No IP rating
  • Immersive audio
  • Some channel matching issues

The QuietComfort Ultra is Bose’s flagship ANC headphone, and at $269, it’s $180 off its launch price. Bose has long set the bar for noise cancellation, and these live up to that reputation — cutting the perceived loudness of engine rumble, office noise, and street sounds by around 87% in our testing. Sound quality is strong out of the box thanks to CustomTune, which automatically calibrates the audio to your ear anatomy every time you put them on. Battery life came in at nearly 28 hours in our testing, and a 15-minute top-up gets you another couple of hours if you’re running low. Worth noting: a 2nd Gen model is available for $449.99, but the main additions are USB-C audio and Bluetooth 5.4 — at this price, the original is hard to argue with.

JBL Charge 6 — $159.95 (20% off)

JBL Charge 6
IP68 • Customizable Sound • Long battery life
MSRP: $199.00
The JBL Charge 6 is here, with some key upgrades.
The JBL Charge 6 is new and improved with its upgraded durability, customizable sound, and longer battery life.
Positives
  • IP68
  • Long Battery Life
  • Durable Build
Cons
  • Playtime Boost kills sound quality
  • Not backwards compatible with Party Boost

The JBL Charge 6 is the go-to portable speaker for anyone who wants something that can genuinely take a beating. It’s IP68 rated — dustproof and submersible up to 1.5 meters — and now officially drop-proof from a meter onto concrete, which is a meaningful upgrade over its already-durable predecessor. Battery life holds up well for a full day of outdoor use, and a 10-minute charge gets you an extra 2.5 hours if you’re running low. The new 7-band EQ in the JBL Portable app gives you a lot more control over the sound than most portable speakers offer, and the detachable handle makes it easier to carry or strap to a bag. It also doubles as a power bank to charge your phone while you’re out. At $159.95, it’s the most capable outdoor speaker on this list.

Nothing Headphone (1) — $225 (25% off)

SoundGuys Editor's Choice
Nothing Headphone 1
ANC • App • Design • Battery • IP52 rating
MSRP: $299.00
Stylish over-ear headphones.
The Nothing Headphone 1 mark a bold debut in the over-ear headphones space, featuring USB-C audio, built-in spatial features, and a rare IP52 rating.
Positives
  • ANC
  • App
  • Design
  • Battery
  • IP52 rating
Cons
  • Default sound is dark
  • Doesn't fold
  • Some Nothing-exclusive features

The Nothing Headphone (1) is the most distinctive-looking headphone on this list by a wide margin — a retro-futuristic design that combines square aluminum slabs and see-through plastic in a way that consistently stops people on the street. But it’s not just a style piece. ANC performance is strong, battery life came in at nearly 43 hours with ANC on in our testing, and it’s one of the only headphones in this category with an IP52 water resistance rating, meaning gym sessions and rainy commutes aren’t a concern. The physical control system — a tactile roller for volume and a rocker paddle for track skipping — is genuinely more satisfying than most touch-based alternatives. Sound out of the box skews dark and benefits from some time with the 8-band parametric EQ in the Nothing X app, but once dialed in, it sounds great. At $225, it’s a compelling alternative if you’re after something different.

More Prime Day audio deals worth grabbing

There’s too much on sale to cover everything in depth, so here’s a quick look at other worthwhile options to consider.

  • Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds 2nd Gen ($249, 17% off): Bose’s flagship true wireless earbuds with top-tier ANC, immersive audio, and IPX4 water resistance. Not the deepest discount, but these rarely go on sale.
  • Bose SoundLink Flex 2nd Gen ($99, 33% off): A compact, genuinely rugged outdoor speaker with IP67 waterproofing, 12 hours of battery, and strong sound for its size. A great entry point into the Bose portable speaker lineup.
  • Skullcandy Method 360 ANC ($79.99, 38% off): Powered by Bose acoustics, these earbuds deliver up to 40 hours of total battery life and solid ANC at a price most competitors can’t touch.
  • CMF Buds Pro 2 ($39, 43% off): At $39, these are an easy impulse buy — 50dB hybrid ANC, LDAC support, Hi-Res Audio certification, and 43 hours total battery life from a brand that consistently over-delivers at budget prices.
  • Nothing Headphone (a) ($159, 20% off): Nothing’s more accessible over-ear option with adaptive ANC, LDAC, and a claimed 135 hours of total battery life. A good entry point into the Nothing ecosystem if the Headphone (1) is out of budget.
  • Sony WF-C710N ($78, 40% off): Lightweight, compact true wireless earbuds with ANC and up to 30 hours total battery life. A solid everyday option from Sony at a very approachable price.
  • Soundcore Space 2 ($109.99, 15% off): Over-ear ANC headphones with 50 hours of battery, LDAC, and a nap mode — the lightest discount on the list, but a capable pair at a reasonable price.
  • Soundcore Motion 300 ($55.99, 30% off): A portable Hi-Res certified speaker with IPX7 waterproofing, 30W of stereo sound, and 13 hours of battery. Strong value for home, shower, or travel use.
  • Soundcore Boom 2 ($79.99, 38% off): A bigger, louder outdoor speaker with 80W output, BassUp 2.0, IPX7 waterproofing, RGB lighting, and a floatable design — built for the campsite or beach.
  • Soundcore Rave 3S ($278.99, 20% off): A 200W party speaker with two included wireless microphones, AI vocal removal, reverb effects, and a light show. If you need serious volume for a backyard event, this is the pick.
  • Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar ($699, 22% off): Bose’s flagship soundbar with Dolby Atmos, AI dialogue mode, and voice assistant support. Not a portable audio pick, but a strong deal for anyone looking to upgrade their home theater setup.
