Bang and Olufsen Beoplay H9 headphone pre-orders start ahead of December 8 launch
Bang and Olufsen remains one of the most popular brands for high-end headphones. The company’s latest over-ear wireless model, the Beoplay H9, is about ready for its close up. The $499 headphones are now available for pre-order at Amazon, and will begin shipping to customers on December 8,
The company says the earphones themselves on the Beoplay H9 are lightweight, which is supposed to mean that you can keep them on for hours without any issues. Indeed, the battery in these headphones are supposed to keep the tunes going for up to 14 hours. Of course, these headphones have Active Noise Canceling features to keep the rest of the world out while you jam at the gym, at home or on the road. This is due to the use of two microphones, one outside the ear cushion and the other inside, that are supposed to generate “anti-noise” to block outside sounds.
The earcups are made out of anodised aluminum, and users will be able to control things like volume, switching tracks and answering phone calls just by touching or swiping on the right earcup. This is supposed to work with both bare fingers as well as gloved hands, in case you want to wear the Beoplay H9 while shoveling snow.
The Bang and Olufsen Beoplay H9 headphones will come in black and “Argilla Gray” colors, in case the basic black is not good enough. Will you be picking up these new headphones for a holiday present?
