ROSESELSA Ceramics Ultra ANC TWS Earbuds
Budget wireless earbuds usually mean you’re giving something up, whether that’s noise cancelation, battery life, or just decent sound. The ROSESELSA Ceramics Ultra makes the case that you shouldn’t have to, packing in strong ANC, support for higher-quality codecs like LDAC and LHDC, and a battery life of up to 45 hours, all for under $50. That’s a lot to promise at this price, so I put them through the wringer to see if it actually holds up.
What’s it like to use the ROSESELSA Ceramics Ultra?
The Ceramics Ultra comes in three finishes: Ink Cloud Black, Nebula Gray, and Light Cloud White, each with a speckled, stone-like texture on the case that’s meant to evoke the “ceramics” name rather than actual ceramic material. Each earbud weighs about 6 grams, which makes them lightweight to wear. I did find the nozzles stuck a bit deeper into my ear canals than I prefer, which made them uncomfortable to wear for more than an hour, but the included memory foam ear tips do make it easy to get a good seal. They also come with four ear tip sizes to help you get a good fit. The earbuds themselves carry an IP54 rating, so sweat and light rain shouldn’t be an issue.
The companion app includes three noise control modes — Noise Cancellation, Wind Noise Reduction, and Transparency Mode — designed for different situations, such as commuting, outdoor workouts, or quick conversations without pulling the buds out. Under Lab Features, there are also Adaptive Noise Canceling (compensation based on ambient noise) and Extreme Noise Cancellation, both off by default for those who want to push ANC further.
There’s also a fairly robust 10-band graphic equalizer (20Hz to 15kHz), a few EQ presets like Classic and Rock, and a separate Gain slider to toggle the bass output volume. Round that out with customizable touch controls, a Find Device beeper for a lost earbud, dual-device toggling, and firmware update support, and overall, it’s a more fleshed-out app than most earbuds at this price offer.
How does the ROSESELSA Ceramics Ultra connect?
The Ceramics Ultra uses Bluetooth 6.0 with support for both LDAC and LHDC, which are higher-bitrate alternatives to the standard SBC/AAC most budget earbuds ship with. That means you’ll be able to take advantage of higher-resolution wireless audio if your device supports those codecs as well.
Dual-device connectivity is built in, so you can stay paired with two devices at once, which I found useful when bouncing between a laptop and a phone. ROSESELSA also lists a low-latency Game Mode rated at 54ms, aimed at reducing the audio lag you’d otherwise notice while watching video or gaming.
How long does the ROSESELSA Ceramics Ultra’s battery last?
The Ceramic Ultra earbuds lasted 10 hours and 11 minutes in our testing. With the charging case, total battery life extends to 45 hours — enough to get through most of a week without plugging in, depending on how much you listen each day. The case charges via USB-C only, and there is no quick charging or wireless charging, which is typical for earbuds at this price.
How well do the ROSESELSA Ceramics Ultra block out noise?
With ANC on, the Ceramics Ultra reduces the perceived loudness of outside noise by an average of 76.6%. That’s a pretty strong result, especially for budget earbuds. They hold up particularly well at the low end, where they cut 20-30dB of attenuation across most of the bass and midrange, where things like an HVAC hum and traffic noise live.

Can you use the ROSESELSA Ceramics Ultra for phone calls?
The Ceramics Ultra uses a 4-microphone array with Goertek ENC (environmental noise cancelation) processing to handle calls. In ideal conditions — a quiet room with minimal background noise — call quality is very good, with clear speech pickup. Listen for yourself in our sample recording below:

Unfortunately, background noise rejection isn’t very good, as you can hear in the samples above. In a busy office, a good amount of background chatter and noise comes through, though the speech on the call remains intelligible. Outside on a street, it’s a tougher story. There’s an audible hiss in the recording, street noise bleeds through, and speech comes across a bit muffled and harder to make out. Car horns and other sudden loud sounds cut through clearly, too. In windy conditions, the mic struggles the most, to the point where it’s hard to make out much of anything being said.
- A firmware update from ROSESELSA is reportedly in the works to improve microphone performance, following similar feedback from other reviewers. We haven’t tested it yet, but we will update this review if it changes our findings.
Should you buy the ROSESELSA Ceramics Ultra?
If you want strong noise cancelation, all-day battery life, and sound that doesn’t feel like a compromise, all for under $50, the Ceramics Ultra is an easy recommendation. The app is a nice surprise too, with a full EQ and enough settings to actually tinker with.
The one place these fall short is phone calls. If you’re mostly using earbuds for music, workouts, or commuting, that’s an easy trade-off to accept. But if you’re taking calls on the go, especially outdoors or in windy conditions, the mics do struggle, so make sure you are indoors.
