Soundcore revealed the next iteration of their sleep-focused earbuds, the Sleep A20. Timed with World Sleep Day (a “holiday” I never knew existed but am tempted to celebrate), these earbuds promise improvements in noise masking, comfort, and battery longevity over their predecessors, the A10.

The Sleep A20 features winged ear tips, which Anker calls “Twin-Seal ear tips,” which should improve the noise rejection of its predecessors, aiming to shield users from sounds that might disrupt their sleep. They also feature a more compact, ergonomic design, which the company claims is particularly beneficial for side sleepers.

Equipped with a battery life of a claimed 14 hours in Sleep mode and 80 hours via the charging case, the A20 ships a library of soothing sounds to help you doze off. It offers Bluetooth connectivity for up to a claimed 10 hours of playtime, along with customizable alarm sounds to wake users without disturbing others.

Additional functionalities include automatic sleep tracking and a find-my-earbud feature via the Soundcore app, just in case one of them falls out while tossing and turning under the sheets.

Starting April 16, the Sleep A20 will be available for pre-purchase on Kickstarter, with early bird specials on Soundcore.com. Official sales begin in mid-late May on Amazon and Soundcore’s website, with a retail price of $149.99 in the US.
