Soundcore Boom 2 Plus gets an $80 Amazon discount

The Soundcore Boom 2 Plus is the kind of Bluetooth speaker built for big outdoor sound. Anker’s boombox-style speaker focuses on strong bass, high volume, and all-day use, and there’s a solid deal on Amazon right now that makes it easier to grab.

This speaker is made for pool days, backyard hangouts, and camping trips. It pushes up to 140W of output and uses BassUp 2.0 with a 2+2 driver layout to deliver punchy low-end and clearer highs than smaller portable speakers. It also has IPX7 waterproofing and is described as floatable, so it fits right in around water. Battery life is rated at up to 20 hours, and you also get USB-C fast charging plus power bank support for charging a phone or other small devices.

There are plenty of extra features, including Bluetooth 5.3, app controls, customizable EQ, RGB lighting, and speaker pairing options for larger party setups. Buyers on Amazon seem happy with it as well, giving it a 4.5-star rating.

As for the deal, the Soundcore Boom 2 Plus is down to $169.99 on Amazon from its $249.99 recommended retail price. That’s a 32% discount off the RRP, which saves you $80. It’s also a rare price drop, as this speaker has only been cheaper once by about $9, so this is still one of the better prices we’ve seen for it this year.
