Sony’s WH-1000XM6 headphones sit at the top of the company’s over-ear lineup, and they’re built for people who care about strong noise canceling, sound quality, and long-wear comfort. There’s also a solid deal on them at Amazon right now, which makes this premium pair easier to pick up.
The WH-1000XM6 is Sony’s current flagship noise canceling wireless headphones. It’s one of your best options for active noise cancelation, especially for travel, commuting, and office use. Sony also upgraded the ANC on this model, refined the sound tuning, and gave it a more premium feel and fit than earlier XM headphones. Wireless features include Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast, and the headphones work with the Sony Sound Connect app. A 2026 update also added LE Audio Gaming Audio Profile, or GMAP, for low-latency gaming use. Color options include Black, Platinum Silver, and Midnight Blue.
As for the deal, Amazon has the Sony WH-1000XM6 Noise-Canceling Wireless Headphones for $398. That’s down from the $459.99 recommended retail price, a 13% discount. It’s not quite as low as the recent Prime Day price, which was the lowest ever, but it’s only $20 higher than that low.
