Sony’s WF-C710N earbuds are down to $88 ($42 off) in an early Black Friday sale, putting Sony’s signature sound and ANC within reach for under $100.
The Sony WF-C710N reduce the loudness of external noise by an average of 85% with ANC enabled, which is quite impressive for the price. They also have a comfortable fit, and a design clearly inspired by the more expensive WF-1000XM5 ($298 at Amazon).
Sound quality is impressive too: our tests gave the C710N an MDAQS score of 4.8 out of 5, indicating clean, balanced sound with minimal distortion. If you prefer a little more bass or treble, Sony’s app includes a five-band EQ and Adaptive Sound Control that automatically adjusts noise canceling based on your environment.
Battery life is another strength, lasting around 9 hours per charge and over 30 hours total with the case. The Bluetooth 5.3 connection supports SBC and AAC codecs, and while there’s no aptX or LDAC, stability is excellent.
