The Sony WF-1000XM6 just dropped to $298 (down from $329.99), marking their first discount since launch. That’s not just the lowest price we’ve ever seen on them. It also addresses the single biggest knock in our review.
In our Sony WF-1000XM6 review, we called them Sony’s best wireless earbuds to date. The ANC is among the best you can get in an earbud, the sound quality is excellent, the fit is more forgiving than previous Sony earbuds, and the microphone system is a significant step up — great for calls and video meetings. The problem was the price. Sony launched them at $329.99, which was $30 more than the XM5 debuted at, and we said XM5 owners should wait for a sale before considering an upgrade.
