Amazon cuts Samsung HW-Q990F 2025 flagship soundbar package by $1,000
Oct 22, 2026 — 1:18 PM ET
The Samsung HW-Q990F is a full home theater package built for people who want big, room-filling sound without setting up a traditional receiver and wired speaker system. Samsung pairs the main soundbar with a wireless subwoofer and dedicated rear speakers in an 11.1.4-channel setup, and there’s a strong deal on Amazon right now that makes this premium system a lot more tempting.
This is Samsung’s 2025 flagship all-in-one sound system, with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support for a more cinematic feel. It also uses upward-firing drivers to add more height and space to movies and shows, while the redesigned subwoofer is more compact for easier placement in your living room. Samsung also includes Wireless Dolby Atmos, Q-Symphony support for compatible Samsung TVs, and gaming-friendly features like low-latency passthrough and 4K/120Hz support.
It’s the kind of setup aimed at people who want high-end surround sound from a single box rather than piecing together separate gear. The HW-Q990F is known for spacious audio, clear dialogue, and immersive movie performance, so it’s a strong fit for movie nights, sports, and gaming. This bundle also adds a 2-Year Amber Protection Plan, giving you the standard HW-Q990F package plus extra coverage.
As for the deal, Amazon has the Samsung HW-Q990F down to $998, from its $1,997.99 recommended retail price. That’s a 50% discount off the RRP, which cuts about $999 off the usual cost. We’ve seen it a little lower before, but this price is just $12 above the all-time low, so it’s still a standout chance to grab Samsung’s top-tier 2025 soundbar package for much less.
