TL;DR
  • Samsung has accidentally leaked the user manual for the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE.
  • The document shows the design of the earbuds, which notably have included wingtips.
  • It is still unclear when Samsung will launch these true wireless earbuds.

Samsung’s latest-and-greatest true wireless earbuds are the celebrated Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. However, the company has a new set on the way for which we have seen numerous leaks. Today’s leak, though, takes the cake. Astonishingly, the leak comes from Samsung itself.

As first spotted by Galaxy Club, Samsung has published a user manual for the unannounced Samsung Galaxy Buds FE. Per the manual, the true wireless earbuds will have model number SM-R400N.

The manual also shows design illustrations of the earbuds. Interestingly, the designs show the Galaxy Buds FE will include optional wingtips. If you remember, the original Samsung Galaxy Buds and the Galaxy Buds Plus came with these accessories. However, every other set of Galaxy Buds hasn’t had them. The lack of wingtips in these models forces buyers to seek out third-party solutions.

Meanwhile, the case for the Galaxy Buds FE looks very familiar. It’s nearly identical to the case provided with the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.

Unfortunately, the manual confirms that this case does not support wireless charging, so it is not exactly the same as the case for the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.

So far, we have no idea when these Samsung Galaxy Buds FE will launch. We know Samsung has a Galaxy S23 FE smartphone in the works and an FE version of the Galaxy Tab S9. It is very likely all three of these devices will launch together at some point this year.
