The verdict

While the ULT Field 3 packs a decent low-end punch in ULT mode, it’s a bit of a one-trick pony, sound-wise. If you’re not a fan of the ULT EQ setting, your only option is to use the custom EQ, which won’t give you the same bass-heavy performance—leaving you with a less-than-satisfying overall sound.

What we like
IP67
Long battery life
ULT setting sound quality
Shoulder strap included
USB-C In/Out for charging devices
What could be better
Large enclosure
Strap can be challenging to remove
Custom EQ cannot match ULT bass levels
