The verdict

The Flip 7 may look familiar, but there’s more here than meets the eye. While upgraded durability, new connection options, and extra carrying attachments aren’t exactly game-changers, the added sound customization is definitely a welcome upgrade.

✓Liked: IP68, New attachment options, Increased durability, Bluetooth 5.4

✕Could be better: Playtime Boost feature kills sound quality, No backwards compatibility with previous JBL speakers that use Party Boost, Less than advertised battery life
