The verdict

Given its price, the JBL Pulse 5 focuses more on its lighting effects than audio features. Speakers of similar sound quality can easily be found for less money. That said, its 360-degree light show is genuinely enjoyable and greatly enhances the ambiance of your gathering or when simply listening around the house.
