The verdict

With its redesigned driver layout, increased wattage, and swappable battery pack, the Boombox 4 is a genuine step forward for JBL’s boombox lineup. It’s still a premium-priced speaker, but if you want a durable outdoor boombox with serious power, long battery life, and modern connectivity, it remains one of the strongest options in its class.
