The AT-LP60XBT delivered distinctly different performance depending on musical content. Testing with Genesis' Turn It On Again revealed slight crispness deficiency at higher frequencies. However, when playing Sade's Diamond Life LP, the warmer soundstage became an asset, with vocals and saxophone sounding impeccable. Bluetooth reliability proved excellent with zero connection dropouts at 30+ feet. The plastic-heavy construction feels insubstantial, yet the overall package provides good value and modern wireless convenience.

It looks a little dated and lacks a little crispness, but there's a lot to like with the Audio-Technica AT-LP60XBT—not least its warm, balanced soundstage and robust Bluetooth connection. For less than £200, you can't really go wrong.

The AT-LP60XBT makes a great starter turntable for beginners thanks to its low price, easy setup, and wireless playback support. While the plinth feels somewhat insubstantial and sound might not be detailed enough for some, its brilliant price makes up for that.

The AT-LP60XBT offers a fair bit of vinyl's charms without breaking the bank, or having to rewire your entire system.

Audio-Technica's AT-LP60XBT sounds better than you might first expect, but falls well short of being recommendable to those semi-serious about their vinyl.
