OnePlus Nord Buds 4 launched: Out-speccing its older premium cousin by a mile
June 25, 2026

- OnePlus has officially launched the Nord Buds 4 in India, priced at ₹3,299 (~$35), featuring upgrades that beat the higher-tier but older Nord Buds 3 Pro available in the US in ANC, battery life, and connectivity.
- The new earbuds feature up to 52dB of ANC, six microphones, Bluetooth 6.1, and an extended 54-hour total battery life with the charging case.
- Despite the budget pricing, the Nord Buds 4 include high-end features such as 3D Spatial Audio, Microsoft Swift Pair, and 47ms low-latency gaming mode.
OnePlus has a decent audio portfolio in the US, currently comprising the OnePlus Buds 4, OnePlus Buds Pro 3, and the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro. Of these, the Nord Buds 3 Pro were launched back in June 2024, so the budget Nord Buds lineup has been long overdue for a refresh. Today, OnePlus has launched the Nord Buds 4 in one of its key markets, and we hope to see it launch in the US too, given how well it out-specs its older, premium sibling.
OnePlus Nord Buds 4 specifications and features
The upgrade story here is fascinating because we are essentially watching an entry-level TWS product (the Nord Buds 4) step into a boxing ring with a tier-above device (the Nord Buds 3 Pro) and win.
The Nord Buds 4 come with 12mm Titanium-coated dynamic drivers, compared to the 12.4mm dynamic drivers on the 3 Pro, so this is a small downgrade on paper. You get up to 52dB of Active Noise Cancellation vs. up to 49dB on the Nord Buds 3 Pro. There are a total of six mics on the Buds 4, vs. four on the Buds 3 Pro.
Endurance is the other major pillar of this refresh. The Nord Buds 4 claim up to 54 hours of total playback with the case (ANC off), comfortably eclipsing the 3 Pro’s 44-hour threshold. This longevity is backed by clear hardware bumps; the individual earbud batteries have jumped to 62mAh (up from 58mAh), while the charging case capacity has increased to 530mAh from the older 440mAh cell.
The Nord Buds 4 upgrades to Bluetooth 6.1, vs. Bluetooth 5.4 on the 3 Pro, so you can expect better range and stability from the newer pair. In addition to dual-device connection and Google Fast Pair support, the Nord Buds 4 also supports Microsoft Swift Pair, so the earbuds pair easily when you open the case next to a Windows PC. The Nord Buds 4 also retain the Pro 3’s IP55 rating for sweat resistance.

Those on a budget will appreciate that the Nord Buds 4 trickle down premium 3D Spatial Audio and Game Sound Spatial Audio tracking to the entry-level tier. For gaming, enabling Gaming Mode reduces audio latency to 47ms when connected to a OnePlus smartphone. You also get features like AI Translate and AI Assistant on supported devices.
OnePlus Nord Buds 4 pricing and availability
The OnePlus Nord Buds 4 will be available in India starting June 29 for Rs. 3,299 (~$35) in Stellar Black and Astral Teal.
For reference, the Nord Buds 3 Pro were launched at $80 in the US, though they are frequently discounted down to $50 these days. The discounted price of the Nord Buds 3 Pro in India these days is Rs. 3,099 (~$33).
OnePlus has not yet shared any plans for launching the Nord Buds 4 in the US. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we learn of them. Given the upgrades across the board, it’s about time OnePlus refreshes its entry-level audio lineup in the US with either the Nord Buds 4 or even the slightly more expensive Nord Buds 4 Pro.
