LG and will.i.am kicked off CES 2026 with a new wave of xboom portable speakers, expanding the brand’s AI-focused lineup with four new models built for very different listening scenarios. Following earlier releases like the Stage 301, Bounce, and Grab, this latest batch focuses on smarter features, longer battery life, and designs tailored to how people actually use portable speakers.

AI features run throughout the new xboom lineup. LG’s updated FYI.RAiDiO platform enables voice interaction with virtual Personas and DJs, while AI Sound and AI Lighting adjust EQ settings and LED effects based on content and environment. Space Calibration Pro adapts audio output to better match your listening environment.

Here’s a closer look at each new xboom speaker announced at CES 2026.

LG xboom Stage 501

The Stage 501 sits at the top of the lineup and is clearly aimed at parties and karaoke nights, with high output and AI-powered vocal tools doing most of the heavy lifting.

Speaking about the collaboration, will.i.am described the goal as turning sound into “a living, learning experience,” pointing to how AI is shaping the future of portable audio. LG says portable speakers will remain a major focus heading into 2026, with this xboom lineup offering a preview of where smart sound is headed.
