These luxury KEF Hi-Fi speakers are built to impress your ears and your eyes

Most premium speakers ask you to make a compromise. You either get incredible sound wrapped inside a giant black box that dominates your living room, or you buy something that looks gorgeous but doesn’t quite live up to its price when it comes to audio. KEF believes you shouldn’t have to choose between the two, and that’s exactly what it’s aiming for with the new LS LUXE wireless speaker system.
At $4,000, it’s firmly in luxury Hi-Fi territory, built for people who care just as much about how a speaker fits into their home as they do about how it sounds. To help it stand out, KEF teamed up with industrial designer Ross Lovegrove, giving it a softer, sculpted design that feels more like modern furniture than a traditional speaker cabinet. Of course, good looks only go so far if the sound doesn’t back them up. Under the hood is the latest 12th-generation Uni-Q driver, paired with an upgraded version of Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT) and a brand-new Velocity Control Technology (VECO).
Those names are a mouthful, but the goal is actually pretty simple: cleaner vocals, tighter bass, and a listening experience that stays consistent even if you’re not sitting in the perfect spot. So whether you’re entertaining guests, making dinner in the next room, or settling in for movie night, the audio should remain balanced instead of sounding noticeably different depending on where you’re standing.
Power shouldn’t be in short supply either. Each speaker combines dedicated Class AB and Class D amplifiers, delivering plenty of output while keeping distortion to a minimum. It also supports high-resolution audio up to 24-bit/384kHz, making it a solid option for anyone with a growing collection of lossless music.
KEF has made sure the convenience part, too. Support for Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Google Cast, AirPlay, Amazon Music, Deezer, Qobuz, and more means streaming is straightforward. If you’d rather use it as the centerpiece of your home entertainment setup, HDMI eARC is onboard, alongside optical, coaxial, and analog inputs for everything from a TV and game console to older audio equipment.
There’s even support for local music servers and dedicated subwoofer outputs if you decide to expand the system later. Setup happens through the KEF Connect app. You can stick with a guided installation if you want to start listening, or dive into detailed EQ controls to fine-tune the sound for your room.
The LS LUXE comes in Dusk Titanium, Eclipse Black, and Mineral White, with an aluminum C3 remote included in the box. At $4,000, it’s clearly aimed at buyers who see audio equipment as a long-term investment rather than an impulse purchase. But if you’ve been looking for a wireless Hi-Fi system that delivers flagship sound without becoming the focal point of your living room, this one certainly makes a compelling case.
