JBL Tour One M3 headphones get a huge $250 price drop

JBL’s Tour One M3 Smart Tx is a premium pair of wireless over-ear headphones built for people who want more than just Bluetooth audio, and there’s a big deal on them right now on Amazon. This is JBL’s top-tier model, and its standout extra is the separate Smart Tx touchscreen transmitter, which lets you control playback and settings without reaching for your phone.

That Smart Tx unit is also what sets these headphones apart from many rivals. It can plug into wired sources, such as in-flight entertainment systems or laptops, and wirelessly send audio to the headphones, giving the Tour One M3 Smart Tx a lot of day-to-day flexibility. JBL also packs in adaptive active noise canceling, spatial audio with head tracking, and hi-res/Lossless playback support over USB.

Battery life is another strong point, with up to 70 hours depending on which features you use and whether ANC is on. For calls, JBL says the headphones use multiple microphones and beamforming to help pick up your voice more clearly. Altogether, this is a feature-packed option aimed at the same premium space as flagship headphones from Sony, Bose, and Apple.

The reason to buy now is the price. The JBL Tour One M3 Smart Tx has dropped to $199.95 on Amazon, down from its $449.95 recommended retail price. That’s a $250 discount, or 56% off RRP. It’s not the lowest price we’ve seen this year, but it’s still a huge cut for a flagship-level JBL headphone bundle that includes the Smart Tx transmitter.
