In an era where we are seeing smartphones ditching the standard headphone jack, like the iPhone 7, wireless headphones will certainly become more popular. One of the leaders in this market, Jaybird, has just announced its latest such product, the Jaybird X3 Wireless Sport Headphones.
The company’s press release says these new headphones will be able to offer up to eight hours of audio on a single charge. It includes an in-line remote for controlling the volume on voice calls and music. It also has what Jaybird calls an “enhanced 6mm driver”, and it’s been made small enough so it can be worn with a helmet.
The Jaybird X3 also includes some redesigned ear fins and includes some extra ear tips so users can get the perfect fit. They also support Bluetooth and Jaybird says users could pair two sets of X3 headphones to one device or pair one of them to two devices simultaneously.
These new Jaybird headphones will come in four colors: Blackout (Black and Silver), Sparta (White and Gold), Alpha (Military Green and Dark Chrome) and Road Rash (Red and Dark Chrome). They are currently on sale right now on the company’s website for $129.99. They will also be available for sale at Best Buy stores sometime in November, just in time for the holiday shopping season to start in earnest.
