  • HyperX unveils the Cloud Mini at CES 2024, a new compact gaming headset designed for kids.
  • The headset is targeted for younger ears with hardware limits on volume output.
  • You can use the headset both wired and wirelessly.

At CES 2024, HyperX has unveiled the Cloud Mini gaming headset. In a small package with hardware volume output limits, the HyperX Cloud Mini is the perfect gaming companion for younger audiences.

The HyperX Cloud Mini works either wired or wirelessly. In Bluetooth mode, the volume is limited to a safe output of 85dB. When using it wired, the headset has a high impedance with reduced sensitivity for less volume output compared to most headsets. This will protect younger ears from noise-induced hearing loss.

With 25 hours of battery life, the headset will survive long gaming sessions when using it wirelessly. With plush ear pads and an adjustable headband, the Cloud Mini is designed to fit smaller heads. The boom mic attached to the headset flips up and out of the way and automatically mutes when you tuck it away.
