GOgroove BassPULSE

We reviewed the original GOgroove BassPULSE speakers a while back and for the price, you can’t go wrong if you’re looking for computer speakers. Since then the company has refreshed the model to include Bluetooth capabilities for streaming from portable devices, thankfully without changing the intriguing design. We’re still currently reviewing these newer speakers, but if you already have your heart set on them and don’t want to wait around for the review we might as well help save you some money. Now through the 11th you can pick yourself up a pair for $20 less than retail price by using the coupon code “SAVEBP20” at checkout.

If you haven’t seen these speakers before they’re probably one of the most, if not the most unique looking computer speakers on the market. Both the woofer and the speakers have color-changing jagged lines of light running through them that look like they came straight out of a comic book. When the bass is turned up passed 80% the LED lights will even pulse to the beat of whatever it is that you’re listening. Probably not the most useful thing in the world, but definitely an absurdly cool feature.

They have Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and a range of about 33 feet, which is fairly standard for most Bluetooth enabled devices. They also have a 3.5mm AUX port just in case if you prefer to hardwire your devices or keep them plugged into your computer on your desk. On the front of the BassPULSE you’ll find two knobs to adjust the volume and bass intensity as well as a few buttons. The buttons allow you to skip and return to tracks, pause or play music, and switch modes depending on whether you’re using Bluetooth or the AUX cord.

GOgroove also includes a 3-year warranty so if anything goes wrong with the speaker at least they have you covered. The full review is on its way but if you can’t wait and simply have to have these before the 11th, make sure to use the coupon code and save yourself $20.
