The Edifier W820NB Plus headphones may not be part of our list of the best budget headphones, but the newer model is (Edifier W830NB). The thing is, that model is not as affordable. At just $36.88, the previous version is quite the steal, and this older set of cans gets really close to the new model.
During our Edifier W820NB Plus review, we noticed there is very little to complain about, considering the price. The sound quality is pretty decent, scoring an impressive 4.8 in the MDAQS score. That actually beats many high-end devices.
While you usually wouldn’t expect this in an affordable headset, the Edifier W820NB Plus headphones come with ANC. It’s not the best, but combined with pretty good isolation, these headphones do a pretty good job blocking out external noise.
We found these to be very comfortable headphones. Just keep in mind that they can get a little warm if you stay active while wearing them. It’s one of the side effects of having such good isolation, but this really won’t be an issue if you’re using them at the desk, sitting on a couch, etc.
Oh, and get this: these have a 46-hour battery life! That is impressive, and it beats most of the best headphones out there.
