Sony WH-1000XM6 return to all-time low with $81 off
Nov 2, 2026 — 10:30 AM ET
The Sony WH-1000XM6 is Sony’s current flagship over-ear noise-canceling headphone, and it’s built for people who want premium sound and strong noise blocking in one package. It’s also on sale right now, which makes this a much better time to pick up a pair than paying full price.
Sony positions the WH-1000XM6 in the premium tier, and the feature list shows why. It uses Sony’s QN3 noise-canceling processor along with a 12-microphone system, aiming for stronger ANC and clearer voice pickup than the last generation. Sony also puts a big focus on comfort, with a lightweight over-ear design made for long listening sessions and travel. On the sound side, it’s described as refined and detailed, with balanced tuning that gives music more clarity and control.
You also get plenty of ways to listen. The WH-1000XM6 supports multipoint Bluetooth, LDAC, USB audio, and wired listening, so it can fit into a lot of setups. Battery life is rated at up to 30 hours with noise canceling on, and fast charging helps when the battery is running low.
As for the deal, you can grab the Sony WH-1000XM6 for $378 on Amazon, down from its $459.99 recommended retail price. That’s an 18% discount relative to the RRP, which saves you about $81. It’s also back to its all-time low price, so this is one of the strongest chances yet to get Sony’s top over-ear ANC headphones for less.
