Best Buy just knocked $100 off the Sony ULT WEAR Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones, dropping them from the $248 recommended retail price to $148. That’s a 40% discount relative to the RRP, and it’s the kind of price cut that makes this deal worth a close look right now. It also helps that buyers seem very happy with them, with a strong 4.7 out of 5 review rating.
The Sony ULT WEAR is built for people who like big, punchy bass without paying flagship headphone prices. Its standout feature is the ULT bass modes, which push out a strong club-style low end that works especially well with bass-heavy music. Beyond that, you’re getting active noise cancelation, app-based EQ and sound customization, multipoint Bluetooth, and support for Sony’s LDAC codec.
Battery life is commonly cited at around 30 hours with noise canceling on, which is a solid fit for commuting, travel, or long listening sessions during the week. Comfort is another plus, and the foldable over-ear design makes the headphones easier to carry in a bag when you’re on the move.
