The Bose SoundLink Micro is built for people who want a tiny Bluetooth speaker from a big-name audio brand, and there’s a solid deal on it right now. Bose packs a lot into this compact speaker, including a rugged design, strong sound for its size, and features that make it easy to bring along.

This is the 2nd Gen SoundLink Micro, and it’s made to travel. It has an IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating, plus a built-in strap so you can attach it to a bag, bike, or other gear. Bose says it delivers full, bassy sound with a balanced profile that works well for casual listening on the go. You also get up to 12 hours of battery life, USB-C charging, Bluetooth 5.4, and support for the Bose app for settings and EQ adjustment.

One thing to know about the SoundLink Micro is that it focuses on music playback. It doesn’t include a built-in microphone, so it’s not meant for speakerphone calls or onboard voice assistant use.

As for the deal, Amazon has the Bose SoundLink Micro for $89 right now, down from its $129 recommended retail price. That’s a $40 saving and a 31% discount relative to the RRP. It’s not the lowest price we’ve seen this year, but it’s still a strong price for a premium ultra-portable speaker from Bose. It also carries a solid 4.6-star Amazon rating, which adds to the appeal if you’ve been waiting for a price drop.
