Bose makes some of the most recognizable portable speakers around, and the SoundLink Micro (2nd Gen) is built for people who want big sound from a very small speaker. It is made for travel, bike rides, showers, and time outdoors, and there’s a strong deal on it right now that makes it a lot more tempting.
The SoundLink Micro keeps Bose’s strap-on design, so it can attach to places where a larger speaker would be awkward. This updated version adds USB-C charging and Bluetooth 5.4, along with an IP67 water-and-dustproof rating for splashes, rain, and dirt. Bose also lists up to 12 hours of battery life, and the speaker supports multipoint pairing plus stereo or party-style pairing with compatible newer Bose speakers.
One of the main reasons people like this speaker is the sound. Recent reviews praise its balanced audio and surprisingly full mids and bass for something this compact. It also has a 4.7-star Amazon rating, which lines up well with that positive feedback.
As for the deal, Amazon has the Bose SoundLink Micro (2nd Gen) down to $79 from its $129 recommended retail price. That is a 39% discount relative to the RRP, knocking $50 off the usual price. Since the current price is below the $99 low we saw earlier this year, this is the best deal we have ever tracked for the speaker. The all-time low price is only available on the Black and Blue Dusk color options, though, so stock may not last long.
