Bose SoundLink Max speaker gets a $120 Amazon discount, now $279
Oct 2, 2026 — 9:26 AM ET
The Bose SoundLink Max Bluetooth Speaker just dropped to $279 on Amazon, down from its $399 recommended retail price. That saves you $120, which is a 30% discount off the RRP, and it is the best deal we have seen this year.
This is a strong time to grab a premium portable speaker, especially one built for big sound on the go. The SoundLink Max is made for loud, full-bodied audio in a design you can still carry around, with a rope-style handle and detachable strap styling that fits outdoor use well.
Bose says the speaker delivers strong bass and balanced mids, with especially good performance for music and outdoor listening. It is also built to handle rougher conditions, with an IP67 rating for dust resistance and water submersion. For wireless playback, it uses Bluetooth 5.4, and you also get a 3.5mm aux input plus USB-C audio and power connectivity.
Battery life is rated at up to 20 hours at moderate volume, and the speaker charges over USB-C in about 5 hours with a 15W adapter. Another handy extra is that it can charge your phone from the speaker’s battery, which could come in handy away from a wall outlet.
The Bose SoundLink Max also has a 4.4 out of 5 review rating, which adds to the appeal at this price. At $279, this Amazon deal cuts a big chunk off a speaker that usually sits around the $399 tier, so it is well worth a look while the discount lasts.
