While the AirPods Pro 2 are undoubtedly great earbuds, especially for those with an iPhone, we highlighted why someone might want to consider each of these alternative options instead. The chart above shows the results of our poll as of July 31, 2025. Out of 1,287 poll responses, the SOUNDPEATS Capsule 3 Pro+ received the most votes, with 51% of the vote. The Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro are in second place with 24% of the vote, and the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 are in third with 17% of the vote.

A lot of comments recommend the Nothing Ear, and I am inclined to agree with them. In our Nothing Ear review, we found the earbuds deliver excellent sound quality and a robust set of features. Considering they also have a similar design to the AirPods Pro 2, they make for a great alternative option.
