Last month, we outlined which three earbuds we would buy instead of AirPods. The choices we highlighted were:
We made our case for each, including value, sound quality, and compatibility with devices outside of the Apple ecosystem. That said, we were curious to hear which earbuds (if any) our readers would choose to buy instead of the AirPods 4.
The winner is…
The chart above shows the results of our poll as of July 24, 2025. Out of 1,380 poll respondents, the CMF Buds 2 Plus received the most amount of votes, with 33.7% of the vote. That said, the Creative Aurvana Ace Mimi are a close second with 32.7% of the vote. The Galaxy Buds 3 received 25.7% of the vote, while 7.9% of the crowd is sticking with the AirPods 4.
